Climate Change The significant change in the average weather in due course of time on the earth or any parts of it is called climate change. Climate change occurs due to the fluctuations in the atmospheric temperature, wind flow, rainfall, etc. Climate does not change in day to day or month to month, it takes hundreds, thousands or millions of years. There are several causes of change in climate. Deforestation is one of the causes of climate change. It is the cutting down of trees in order to make land available for settlement, do business or for other purposes. But as we all know that trees absorbs carbon dioxide of atmosphere and gives us pure and fresh oxygen. But if we cut trees, there will not be sufficient trees to absorb carbon dioxide which will directly affect our health. Secondly, industrial development is another cause of climate change.
